Pablo Torterolo, Depto. de Fisiología, Universidad de la República de Uruguay

Summary: Results will be presented in mice, rats, and cats, on how EEG gamma oscillations, a key rhythm for cognitive function, are modulated by breathing during sleep-wake states, and how sub-anesthetic doses of ketamine, considered a pharmacological model of psychosis, affect this modulation.
