Studies

The Department participates in graduate and undergraduate curricula. Department professors direct undergraduate Anatomy, Embryology, Cell Biology, Histology or Neuroscience courses in the degrees of Medicine, Nutrition Science, Nursing, and Sports Sciences of the UAM.

The Department runs the Graduate Program (Master’s + Ph.D.) in Neuroscience, which is aimed at training future biomedical and research professionals. This Program is carried out in partnership with the Santiago Ramón y Cajal Institute of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Its Faculty also includes researchers from other UAM, University of Alcalá, National Open University (UNED) Departments, as well as from several CSIC institutes, and numerous national and foreign guests.
